Didn’t get my verification email
The first thing you want to do is verify your email. If everything checks out there but you’re still not seeing an email, hang tight. It may take a few minutes for the email to land in your inbox so try refreshing. If that doesn’t work it may have been flagged as spam. If none of those options work try clicking on the “resend verification email” link at the bottom of the sign-in page. If you’re still not getting an email send us a message and we’ll help you resolve the issue.
Didn’t get my text verification code
There are a few things that could have gone wrong but don’t worry, we’ll get you sorted out! First, make sure the phone number you entered is correct. If that doesn’t solve your problem try clicking the “resend verification text” link at the bottom of the sign-in page. If you still don’t get a text from us send us a message and we’ll take care of it as soon as possible!
My password isn’t working
If you’ve just created an account and try to login but can’t don’t stress! You can reset your password by clicking the “reset password” link at the bottom of the sign-in page.
I don’t want to see the content
Not feelin’ the Daily Digest vibe? If you want to stop receiving your Daily Digest scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the gear icon. From there, click on account settings. This will log you into your InfluenceGeek account. From there click on the edit button next to your phone number. At the bottom of the page click on the link that says “Click here to only receive a daily email” . you can change these settings at any time if you decide you miss it!
I want to see different content
Trying to see some new stuff? You can change your content by clicking on the blue card at the bottom of the page titled “Make it Yours!” Click on the “Manage Cards” button to change which feeds you see, the order they are in, and whether or not you want to display the content with images.
Can I change the day and/or time I receive the messages
Not a morning person? Neither are we. There’s a card at the bottom of the page with the title “Day & Time” click on that to manage when you receive your daily dose of content.
The link doesn’t work
Weird. We don’t really have a straightforward answer for you on this one. Send us a message and we’ll get it taken care of right away!
Why is there a quote every morning?
We’ve thought long and hard about the best possible way to engage with you. Probably as long and as hard as most of the philosophers who came up with all the great quotes thought about whatever it is philosophers think about. We could just send you a link with all of your content but we thought that was pretty lame. So, we decided to share a little snippet of inspiration along with the link to help kickstart your day with the best possible mindset. Hope it helps!
I don’t see the content in my text message, only a quote, and link
Fear not! Your content has been successfully delivered. Read the quote, let it sink in, and then just click on the link that follows. Ta-da!
The social network I want to share isn’t an option
Find some cool content you think would be great for a certain audience but can’t share it to their preferred platform? Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the gear icon. From there, click on the “Social Connections” tab. This will take you to the Social Connections dashboard. At the top there’s an option to add a new network. Once you’ve done that you’ll be sharing in no time.
There are no social networks I can share the content with
Haven’t connected any profiles yet? No worries! Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the gear icon. Click on the “Social Connections” tab. You’ve now arrived at your Social Connections dashboard. From here you can add and manage any of your Social Connections.

Right under the article there’s a text box. Write whatever message you want and it will be shared as soon as you press share.
What are tags/hashtags and do I need them?
Tags help you make your content more engaging. Most people add hashtags, which make your content more likely to reach more people. Try to use popular hashtags as the more popular they are the more likely your content will reach a larger audience. You can also add some text or a relevant website link.
How do I change the settings for the Daily Digest?
If you want to change the settings for you Daily Digest you can do so by scrolling to the bottom of the Daily Digest page. At the bottom, there is a gear icon, click that thing. This will open up a dashboard that gives you a few different options. You can manage your Social Connections, change Account Settings, manage Content Categories, or manage your holiday settings.
How do I change the settings for Content Feeds?
There are a lot of settings you can tinker with for each Content Feed. Each feed starts with a title. To the right of it there’s a settings icon, click on that. Once you’ve done that, you’ll see a few cards. These cards are full of Content Feed customization options. You can make the feed your editing a favorite so it will show up at the top of your Daily Digest. You can edit the search criteria to modify the content you see. Hell, you can even decide you don’t want to see content from that feed in your Daily Digest.
I didn’t get my daily text this morning
Well, that’s not good. Really quick, log in to your InfluenceGeek account and go to your “Account info & Billing” dashboard. Click on your phone number and try to send yourself a Daily Digest. If that doesn’t work send us a message and we’ll take care of it as soon as possible!
How do I remove a social network
Managing social networks is easy! Scroll to the bottom of your Daily Digest and click on the gear icon. Click on the “Social Connections” tab. This will take you to your Social Connections dashboard. To delete a social profile you have connected, find it on this dashboard and click on the garbage can icon.
The social network is disconnected
Sometimes social networks release major updates. Sometimes you have to change a password. Long story short, there are a few ways your social profile could’ve been disconnected. To reconnect a social network, navigate to your “Social Connections” dashboard. Find the network that’s been disconnected (you’ll be able to tell by the big red X) and click on it. From here you’ll be prompted to connect it again.

Don’t stress!! All this means is that your social network was disconnected. To fix it see (link to the social network is disconnected)
Can I pause the Daily Digest?
Currently, there is no way to “pause” the Daily Digest. You can, however, choose to stop receiving text messages. To do this, navigate to your “Account info & Billing” dashboard. Once you’ve reached this dashboard click on your phone number. From this page, you can change the text to an email or turn it off entirely. If you decide you want to receive it again, you can always manage your preferences from this page.
How do I change my phone number?
Got some hot new digits? To change your phone number log in to the InfluenceGeek account. Navigate to your “Account info & Billing” dashboard. This dashboard has all of your relevant account info, including the phone number we have on file. Click the edit button next to your phone number and enter a new one!
How do I change my email address?
Need to link your Influence Geek account with a different email? Not a problem. Login and navigate to your “Account info & Billing” dashboard. This dashboard includes all of the relevant info for your account. Your email should be the very first thing at the top. Click on the edit button to change it whenever you need to.
How do I change the card content from picture to title only?
Tired of pictures getting in the way of the important stuff? At the top of each Content Feed there is a title and settings icon. Click on the settings icon. This will present you with a bunch of cards full of different customization options. The fourth card down gives you the option to change how you see the content!
How do I add an RSS feed?
Want to see more cool stuff? Scroll to the bottom of your Daily Digest until you see the card titled “Add Card”. This will give you the ability to add another card full of content you want. Simply click the card, and paste the link to the RSS feed you want to add.
How do I add my own hashtags?
If you’re wondering how to add hashtags we’ll assume you’ve already found some cool content in the Daily Digest you’d like to share. Click on the article you want to share to get started. This will take you to a dashboard that helps you prepare your content before sharing. Scroll down until you see “Add Tags” option. Enter in as many tags as you want before you share!
